Hello Theo. I buy very few angling books, ( only two I think since “Still Water Angling”), but I have a suspicion that “TiDP” is going to be a worthwhile buy. So I have lashed the cash.
I have been fishing for trout and grayling in various “dirty places” for about five years, ( mixed in with about 15 other species en-route), after being astonished that there were any fish at all present, let alone game fish. I didn’t know there were as many as 50 such places, let alone those rivers you do not list in the book. My impression is though, that such places can often contain the odd VERY big brownie.
Looking forward to it coming to my door.
Thanks Jay – a compliment indeed for TiDP to join only three other books on your angling shelf!
Do let me know what you think as a fellow fisher of Dirty Places (and yes, you’re right, some of those do hold very big brownies indeed…)
Theo
